COVID-19 Update

Updated April 27, 2020

We are now open 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. We are also offering Virtual Consults and Telemedicine visits daily. Please call us at (512) 427-1100 to see if Telemedicine may be an option for your visit.

At Eye Clinic of Austin, your confidence in our safety and staff are vital to us. We have instituted several precautions for our staff and patients for increased safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We adopted protocols outlined by both the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization to keep our patients and our staff as safe as possible. This includes temperature checks using a non-contact thermometer, frequent and thorough hand washing, and screening patients and staff.  We have masks and hand sanitizer available throughout our office and follow careful guidelines for bacteria and virus-killing sanitation frequently throughout the day.  Our staff are protected with sufficient personal protective equipment and are briefed daily on updates and protocols.

It’s best to keep away from the ER, both to avoid your potential exposure to COVID-19 AND to minimize strain to hospitals as they struggle to provide great care to all who need it.  So if you have an eye emergency, call us!

Most importantly, we hope you stay safe and healthy out there!  We value you as a part of our family.
